25 July 2010 Posted 15:00 by Les With San Diego Comic Con 2010 behind us now (and not too many Indiana Jones announcements to be had) I thought I revisit a great item from Sideshow Collectibles. Originally sold out, I've noticed that this awesome collectible is once again available from Sidehsow's site. I am of course talking about the 12" Indiana Jones figure from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. And the version I'm going to write about (and show photos of) is the exclusive version that came with the fridge. I couldn't wait to open the boxes as I'd been dying to see if I could get Indy inside the fridge (like they showed in the promo photos). When you open the box you are presented with 2 trays; the one on the left holds the 2 whips (coiled and full-length), revolver, extra hands, satchel and knife. The tray on the right holds the Crystal Skull, Mask of Oreana, Indy and his stand. One of the things I love about Sideshow is that you can open their boxes and not have to wreck anything in the process. No tape to accidently tear the box. Just pop them open at the top and slide out the trays. Seperate the trays when removed and you're posing your figure in no time!   I highly recommend this figure! I took some extra shots after I was done with my fridge posing - he comes with enough goodies to have fun with setting him in different poses or for use in your own custom diorama. .
